Detola and Geek accepts PayPal and credit card payments. 


Any international custom/import duties, taxes, fees that may be due are solely borne by / paid for by the purchaser/buyer. Also products may be delayed by customs, public holidays & other actions beyond my control. 

Please make sure that your SHIPPING / POSTAL ADDRESS is correct as I am not responsible for non-delivered / lost goods due to incorrect or incomplete addresses given when placing your order.

I tend to send out my handmade lampshades in new as well as clean undamaged used cardboard boxes and always ensure that they are clean and fit for reuse (be rest assured). This reduces their carbon footprint and are eco-friendly too.


Once an order has been placed, it can't be cancelled. 

If you are unhappy with your lampshade or any other product bought (total shock horror!), please do contact me, in the first instance, via email within 5 days of receiving your purchased item. I will do my best to resolve the issue. 

If you want to exchange your lampshade or any other product for something else, please contact me within 5 days of receipt of your order. Returns will only be accepted within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The returned product must be in the original packaging (unopened & unused and undamaged). Refunds will be given LESS SHIPPING COST as long as the item is undamaged & in the condition it was sent out to you. If a product(s) is/are returned to me and is/are damaged or in an unsaleable condition, no refunds will be issued at all.  

If your lampshade or any other product purchased is delivered to you damaged/broken in the post while in transit, please email/message me STRAIGHT AWAY with pictures of the damages (the packaging, the lampshade etc). I would need these as evidence to make a claim from the post office/courier company. Only after receipt of the evidence will your claim be processed and a refund will be issued.
